MUSIC IN DE ROZENHOF

From 14.00 to 16.00 hrs, you can enjoy, among the beautifully blooming roses, the music played by the Reunion Orchestra of the Limburgse Jagers.

The ROLJ is composed of formerly conscripted soldiers who, during their military service, played in the Fanfare Band of the Limburgse Jagers.

The ROLJ was established in 1992 and contains nearly 60 musicians.

It is a unique event that this orchestra performs in Lottum, among the blooming roses.

Their repertoire is diverse, from military marching music to sound tracks from films and musicals.

You also have access to the museum about the many aspects of the rose and about the history and old customs of Lottum and also to the outside exhibition about rose symbolics.

You can also enjoy a rose specialty on the terrace or under the new patio cover.

The many rose varieties in the garden are in full bloom, as they could be in your own garden. This is therefore an ideal opportunity to choose your favourite rose and then visit a rose garden center for a purchase. Our volunteers will be happy to inform you about the options.

There are beautiful biking routes around Lottum, e.g. the rose route.

Entrance fee is € 5,50. Free entrance for children up to 17 years of age.
